Sunset View campground, as well as the 아로마테라피 adjacent Canyon View campground, are located in Navajo Nation. Additional sites are available in Canyon View Campground (not available in the winter months). Sunset View Campground is nicely maintained, sitting on a ravine above the canyon, with the trees of Juniper lining a paved road. Just a short hike to the beach, the campground has sites for tents and RVs, plus cozy, cozy yurts.
Sunset State Beach Campground has the sites, but not hookups. Sunset State Beach campground does not have dump stations, but your entrance fee gives you access to the New Brighton State Beach Station next door. Sunset Beach is just one of the places where you can camp close to Santa Cruz. You can find other places to camp close to the beach, other places to camp close to the city, and a few campsites in nearby mountains, when using this guide on Camping in Santa Cruz.
Contact the AZ Camp Guide if you can provide additional information about a campground. Reservations may be made in advance for group campgrounds that will fit the size of your party. For groups 15-30, please see Sunset Grp Site A or B for reservations. Please use the designated Day Use areas for parking, picnicking, and access to the river.
Overnight parking is NOT allowed on or along roads, in parking lots, in picnic areas, or on the river crossing. Dogs, cats, and other pets leashed, cradled, or otherwise physically contained are permitted at this campground only within 100 feet of the edges of established roads or public-access parking areas, and are permitted inside established campsites and picnic areas; dogs, cats, and other pets are prohibited in backcountry areas and along established trails. Camping at locations not permitted within the Park causes harm to the ecosystem and is not safe for Park visitors. If you are looking for nightly accommodations, Belle Isle State Park offers spacious campsites with electricity and water, a campground for paddlers, and two nightly cabins located in the Belleair neighborhood.
If you are able to camp on the week, you are nearly guaranteed to have the Briers Point Campground all to yourself. The final spot to catch sunset in Belle Isle, according to the list of volunteers for Nick Riedel-AmeriCorps, is at the Brewers Point Campground. This gorgeous spot, where Mulberry Creek meets Rappahannock, provides a perfect sunset view. Most visitors go down to the riverfront to view the sun go down over Porth Beach or the nicely placed bars, but hike the hillside beyond the campground to get equally impressive views.
Smugglers Cove is effectively located on the northern shores of the Dyfi Estuary, but the little protrusion poking into the water means that these camping spots — reached by walking — are still facing a little to the west, best positioned to catch the sunset. On the banks of the Dyfi Estuary and on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Smugglers Cove offers wild camping tent sites, nestled in trees on the waters edge. The narrowness of the peninsula also means that each beach has different aspects, the estuary at Milford Haven being for sunrises, the western beaches at Dyfi being for Atlantic sunsets. At Manresa State Beach, picnic tables on the upper edge of a bluff provide sweeping views of the ocean.
A serene camping area beneath pine trees, beachside picnics, and unparalleled views of Monterey Bay make Sunset State Beach a year-round favorite. Some visitors also love the fact that the Sunset State Beach campground is dog-friendly and that you can build a bonfire at the beach. Sunset View campground is open all year long with 30+ tent/RV sites that are first-come, first-served.
Navajo Nation Reservation has a visitors center with museum, two short, self-guided Mesa Tops Trails, two small camping areas, and picnic areas. The Navajo Nation monument covers about 84,000 acres, located completely on the Navajo Nation, and about 40 families live within the parks boundaries. The National Park Service and Navajo Nation share resources and continue to work collaboratively to manage this special place. The Navajo Nation is home to the Navajo Nation with its diverse collection of over a dozen National Monuments, Tribal Parks and Historic Sites, peppered by more than a dozen lakes and ponds — Lake Powell alone has 186 miles of shoreline on the Navajo land.
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Experience one of the most majestic – and photogenic – points on Earth. Be sure to include a few smaller treasures in your visit, like Window Rock Navajo Nation Monument and Veterans Memorial Park, or the Hubbell Trading Post, among several other National Historic Sites.
When you think of Massachusetts, we want you to think of Sunsetview Farm Campground — an affordable nightly stay, centrally located, easy to access by interstates, and also a real destination camp. We explored the sunsets of Joshua Tree directly at our campground, right out the southern Joshua Tree entrance, most nights, but also caught several sunsets within the National Park and at nearby mountaintops. The group camp on Point Arago is located 3 miles south of the campground.
On the east side of the North Downs, Fallow Fields offers great views at sunrise, although walking half an hour into Sandwich pays dividends: The towns pebbled beaches are even better viewing spots. The Palms Fish Camp restaurant has views over Timucuan Ecological and Historic Reserve, making the sunsets particularly scenic. The beach offers dozens of family-friendly, dunes-protected sites (no hookups) accommodating recreational vehicles up to 31 feet long.
